An Iterative Method for Calculation of Wind Profiles at the Mesoscale and Microscale

Abstract This paper presents the variational diagnostic model and iterative procedure, which enables wind field in subdomains to be adjusted. Diagnostic models are not time dependent. Consideration of more complex features thermodynamic structure requires with high resolution, require large calculation times. The presented applies approach topographical complexity terrain considered. problem adjusting is solved two steps. first step adjusts initial by means experimental measurements or a prognosis larger domain, includes smaller domains. Then results obtained used as when grid refinement domain performed. allows precise mapping its architecture.
